While camping this weekend, My cousin, Meagan, and I were 4wheeling outside about 30 miles from camp into the most BEAUTIFUL terrain I have EVER seen. And about ever 5 miles, the scenery completely changed. We went from desert, to forest, to rocky mountain hills covered with trees, and farmland. It was the most amazing, and eye-opening thing I have EVER experienced. And the entire time I was watching the land pass us by, I kept thinking to myself "Why is there so much hate in the world, when it's still so beautiful?" This earth was created for us. To love and behold and cherish, not to take for granted. Nobody seems to stop and smell the perverbial roses anymore. Nobody seems to stop and look at the beauty still left. Why do we CONTSANTLY destroy places like that? There's too many cities, too much technology and pollution harming our earth and bodies and souls. I wish I was more than some 16 year old girl, so I could take a stand and do something. The only reason there's so much violence and hatred in the world is because we purposefully harm the place in which homes us. It harms our psyche a lot. And it bothers me. I mean, one day the sun will implode and the earth will dissinigrate anyways, but why treat our home like shit in the meantime? The world is dying faster than it should. The Ozone layer is depleating, the animals are choking on our plastic and aluminum and our gasoline, the air is unclean and unsuitable for human lungs, and everything is falling apart. It bothers me. I wish the world was like what I experienced this weekend. Clean, beautiful, uninhabited. Everything and all the animals were so at peace. Take a stand with me?
